We are currently accepting resumes for the following positions:
Pre-Admit RN
Works with Pre-op Nurses to complete medication reconciliation of the patients. Works under supervision to administer medications and treatments and deliver patient care as ordered by physician. One year of med/surge working experience required. Current TX RN license. Must have BLS and ACLSC certification.
OR Nurse Circulator
Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team is knowledgeable in the areas of aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures. Able to work with highly technical, ever-changing equipment, in an accelerated pace. This position requires demonstrated competency to care for patients as defined by scope of service and in specific department competency assessments. Valid TX RN license as well as an Associate degree required. CPR and ACLS certification required.
Pre-Op Nurse
Responsible to care for patients in the Pre-op area and may also assist in PACU. Greet family and escort patient to room. Assess chart for lab work, allergies, history and physical and administer medications. Facilitate progress of daily schedule and coordinate patient care. Valid TX state RN license and 2 yrs Pre-op/PACU experience required. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
Inpatient Unit Secretary
This position is accountable for attending nursing station, performing clerical and reception duties and requisition supplies. Answers incoming phone calls and greets visitors. Performs clerical duties pertaining to patient census, patient discharge instructions and patient location. Assists RN with transporting patients. Also responsible for acting as a liaison between patients and families. May act as a monitor tech monitoring cardio patients. One year of secretarial experience preferred.
Patient Care Technician (PRN)
Provides general nursing and personal care assistance to patients. Assist the physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes and provides health care instructions and education to patient and family members. Valid TX RN license and 1 year inpatient nursing experience required.
Staff Nurse (PRN)
Provides general nursing and personal care assistance to patients. Assist the physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes and provides health care instructions and education to patient and family members. Valid TX RN license and 1 year inpatient nursing experience required.
Respiratory Therapist (PRN Days/Nights)
Responsible for the delivery of respiratory care and procedures including assessment, ensures patient/family education is adequate and documentation of respiratory care and education is complete and timely. Assists in the orientation of new personnel and communicates with management as well as other member o f the interdisciplinary team. Valid Respiratory Therapist License, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1 year experience in hospital or surgical center environment.
Responsible for the safe transport of patients and the correct handling/transport of blood products, specimens, x-rays, equipment and supplies, a clean surgical environment and other patient care related duties in the OR suite. Also responsible for the sterilization, decontaminating, delivery and distribution of instruments and supplies with the surgical suites. Requires Surgical Tech certification and 1 yr surgical experience.
